So the rumors tell, a race of giants as tall as 10-15ft inhabit the mountainous forests of the island’s interior, only occasionally leaving their homes by the cover of night to terrorize the low-lying human villages looking for easy prey.

During WWII Japanese forces who has taken the Islands experienced first hand why these creatures are so feared by the native populations.
