Jon Bernthal Alone Can NOT Save The Punisher from Disney

Marvel’s Punisher star, Jon Bernthal, made his MCU debut in season 2 of the Netflix series Daredevil. Since then, it has been announced Jon Bernthal will be returning to the role in the Disney+ show Daredevil Born Again.

The actor has spoken about the upcoming series and says he’ll do everything he can to protect the character and do his best to portray him how he should be. Unfortunately, the executive over at Disney may have other plans in mind. It’s likely the new series will go the way of the comic and ruin the image of Frank Castle because, according to Punisher writer Chuck Dixon, Marvel hates fans of the Punisher and hates what the character represents.
