Star Wars TEASES a New Direction For the Rey Movie! Fans Are DONE!

The rampant Star Wars news in recent days has mostly fallen by the wayside. Jon Favreau directing the Mandalorian and Grogu movie was a nice narrative shift and Dave Filioni getting to play with his Ahsoka doll again for Season 2 is nice, but the looming threat of a Rey movie weighs heavy on Lucasfilm.

Daisy Ridley is trying to salvage anything from the damage done by the Director, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, by teasing the film is going to take the franchise in a new direction. Whatever that means is all but white noise to large swaths of the fandom.

Lucasfilm had their chance to take the story in a new direction. We seen that. It was terrible. We know you can't do better than that.

This is going to be an all time failure of a film.
