Iran’s Revolutionary Guard deployed in Yemen

Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders and advisors are actively present in Yemen, directly participating in Houthi rebel attacks on commercial traffic in the Red Sea.

According to U.S. and Middle East officials, the IRGC has stationed trainers and operators for missiles and drones in Yemen.

They are also providing tactical intelligence support to the Houthi rebels.

Through its overseas Qods Force, the IRGC oversees the transfer of attack drones, cruise missiles, and medium-range ballistic missiles to the Houthis, which have been used in recent strikes on Red Sea and Israeli targets.

The Houthi rebels claim that their military operations aim to support the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, engaged in a three-month conflict with Israel, Semafor reported.
