That Time Israel Attacked the U.S.S Liberty to Cover Up War Crimes

Israel attacked the USS. Liberty in international waters on June 8, 1967. The Liberty was a CIA listening ship monitoring the Six Day War. Israel attacked with aircraft and torpedo boats, seeking to sink the ship with no survivors to cover up Israeli war crimes in Egypt. Lyndon Johnson and Def. Secretary McNamara ordered the navy not to defend the Liberty, and then, covered up the incident.
