Winter Freeze Up - Ep. 17 January 15, 2024

The clear ice grew 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch over the last 24 hrs thanks to colder temperatures. It's going to be even colder right through until late Saturday. The nights will be in the low minus teens and some nights minus twenties. Once the slush freezes we should average a 1/2 inch per night. At this rate I'd expect the club would be ready to start staking lakes.
