Cyclone Belal rages on the island of Reunion (France).
According to Météo France, "Cyclone Belal will be strong, with wind speeds likely to exceed 200 km/h on the coast and 250 km/h or more" at the island's heights.
In the west of the island, rains have already caused several rivers to overflow. The international airport in Sainte-Marie is closed and all public transport networks are shut down.
