Disney's Alien: Romulus is the Worst Thing Coming Out in 2024

When Disney acquired 21st Century Fox in 2019, they got their hands on a host of beloved IP's. Among the haul was the beleaguered Alien franchise, fresh off a 2017 dragging in the form of Alien: Covenant.

Just when you thought it couldn't get worse than Covenant, Disney is deciding to update the 1979 classic for a modern audience and ruining the entire aesthetic to appeal to an audience that isn't there. Hope you like the equivalent of the Nostromo being staffed by a McDonald's commercial casting call!

Here's hoping Noah Hawley's FX series makes it out alright for Alien fans.
