Taiwan Relies on US for CCP Deterrence, Not Just National Defense

Both parties in the U.S. have reached a consensus on the Taiwan issue, and they both agree to provide military support to the island. The deterrence against the CCP is not only from Taiwan’s own national defense, but from the United States.
