Water main breaks and gas leak ravel Friday morning's commute

Two water main breaks and one gas leak led to road closures Friday morning during the early rush hour. The first major issue erupted just after 5:30 a.m. Friday on Branch Hill-Guinea Pike in Loveland between Loveland-Miamiville Road and Wards Corner Road. Crew members on the scene said the road will likely be closed through Friday afternoon. The road looked "like an ice skating rink" with spewing water quickly freezing into a sheet of ice. Our reporter on the scene said water shot at least 60 feet in the air for nearly two hours.
