Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 275 (Arabic Recitation): “ ٱلَّذِينَ يَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلرِّبَوٰاْ لَا يَقُومُونَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَقُومُ ٱلَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ مِنَ ٱلۡمَسِّۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡبَيۡعُ مِثۡلُ ٱلرِّبَوٰاْۗ وَأَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡبَيۡعَ وَحَرَّمَ ٱلرِّبَوٰاْۚ ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 275 (English Translation): “ Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allāh has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 275 (Urdu Translation): “ سود خور لوگ نہ کھڑے ہوں گے مگر اسی طرح جس طرح وہ کھڑا ہوتا ہے جسے شیطان چھو کر خبطی بنا دے یہ اس لئے کہ یہ کہا کرتے تھے کہ تجارت بھی تو سود ہی کی طرح ہے، حالانکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تجارت کو حلال کیا اور سود کو حرام، ”
