A recent study indicates that the majority of meat and vegan alternatives may contain microplastics linked to cancer, aligning with the presence of toxins found in bottled water. Scientists tested 16 protein sources, including chicken, beef steak, seafood, pork, tofu, and three plant-based meats, discovering that 90% of them contained nanoplastics, raising concerns about potential health risks.
