For this list, we’re looking at the ten safest cities in the world, as identified by the 2019 Safe Cities Index, published by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Please note, these are the safest popular city destinations, not taking into account ALL cities. In order to achieve this ranking, the EIU evaluated digital security, health security, infrastructure security and personal security.
