A man randomly shot at two cops patrolling in Queens early on Monday – prompting them to return fire, police sources said.

No one was injured in the shootout that broke out around 3:20 a.m. on Labor Day at 190th Street and Linden Boulevard in St. Albans, according to the sources.

The officers were conducting quality-of-life patrols when the 35-year-old suspect opened fire, the sources said.

The officers fired back, the sources said, and no one was struck in the exchange.

The suspect was taken into custody, and charges against him were pending later Monday, the sources said.

Investigators recovered a gun at the scene.
