Child killed in storage area fire

Kern County Fire crews say a child was killed in Wednesday morning's fire. KCFD officials say a family of five was living inside a storage area next to a market.   KCFD says the family was squatting in the storage area.  Officials say the child was 4 or 5 years old. The child's mother and two others were injured in the blaze. No other injuries were reported.
