Let's Make Breakfast Casserole!

10/3/23 YES, breakfast casserole fits very well into a low carb or keto or carnivore eating plan! Just take out the carby stuff. Easy to make, and always a crowd-pleaser, for all ages. It also reheats well and freezes well when there's not a crowd.

* Ingredients *

12 eggs 1 t. salt
1/2 c. cream or milk 1/2 t. mustard
1 lb. sausage 1/8 t. pepper
1 c. shredded cheese (any kind)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease a 9x13 pan
3. Beat together eggs, salt, mustard & pepper
4. Press raw sausage into the 9x13 pan
5. Sprinkle cheese on top of sausage
6. Pour egg mixture on top of cheese
7. Bake 40 minutes

Cut into 12 pieces. Each piece has:
1 g total carb, 12 g protein, 24 g fat, 269 calories, 0 g fiber.

Use hamburger instead of sausage.
I season hamburger with sage, onion powder, garlic powder & celery salt when I do this.
