Kristian Flood - Immigration, Crime and Leadership in New York Part 3

Det. Kristian Flood and Jared Bradley return for part 3 of this podcast series to discuss the cyclical nature of crime and how we are currently in a period where weak leadership at the top is creating difficult conditions for workers at the bottom–causing many people to leave the city, which ultimately weakens everything else.

Crime is escalating rapidly, and it is a sad reality that affects us all. Everywhere we look, we are seeing increases in crime, and it is becoming a major issue. It is hard to ignore the fact that crime is on the rise, and it is a cycle that has been repeating itself for years. The cycle starts with strong men creating good times, which then leads to weak men creating hard times. We are currently in the weak men creating hard times era, and the real hard times have yet to hit.

The politicians at the top are making policies that reverberate all the way down to the bottom. This creates conditions that are so difficult for those at the bottom that many people simply give up and move to stronger areas. This weakens everything else, and it is a sign of the times when people have to take care of themselves.

The problem is further compounded by the fact that 5 million people have come into the country illegally in the last two years. The majority of these people are young, working-age men, and when they get here, they may not find the streets paved with gold. This could lead to more carjackings, robberies, and other crimes.

It is clear that crime is escalating rapidly, and it is a problem that needs to be addressed. We need to take action and find solutions that will help to reduce crime and make our communities safer. We need to take a stand and make sure that those in power are held accountable for their actions and that the weak men creating hard times are no longer in charge.
