I grew up playing this game with my brothers and friends on the city sidewalk. We would draw the board using crayons or chalk at the corner of the block, where there was more space. I would call this game battle caps but only recently learned it goes but other names. We could play it for hours and trash talk to each other. A million time better than staying inside in front of a screen.
