Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 234 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوۡنَ مِنكُمۡ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزۡوَٰجٗا يَتَرَبَّصۡنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرۡبَعَةَ أَشۡهُرٖ وَعَشۡرٗاۖ فَإِذَا بَلَغۡنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِيمَا فَعَلۡنَ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 234 (English Translation): “ And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind - they, [the wives, shall] wait four months and ten [days]. And when they have fulfilled their term, then there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in an acceptable manner. And Allāh is [fully] Aware of what you do. ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 234 (Urdu Translation): “ تم میں سے جو لوگ فوت ہوجائیں اور بیویاں چھوڑ جائیں، وه عورتیں اپنے آپ کو چار مہینے اور دس (دن) عدت میں رکھیں ، پھر جب مدت ختم کرلیں تو جو اچھائی کے ساتھ وه اپنے لئے کریں اس میں تم پر کوئی گناه نہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے ہر عمل سے خبردار ہے۔ ”
