Shirakawa-go Village in Japan is located in Gifu prefecture. Shirakawa-go is home to the beautiful traditional Japanese village called Ogimachi. In 1995, Ogimachi Village in Shirakawa-go, together with Suganuma Village and Ainokura Village in Gokayama area, were recognized as World Heritage Sites in Japan.
In this video, I’d like to share with you how to get to Shirakawa-go from Tokyo (also from Osaka), which bus and train to take, where to take them, where to buy the tickets, how much does it cost, how long does it take to go to Shirakawa-go. Hopefully by the end of this video, you’ll know exactly how to go to Shirakawa-go using public transportations, even on your first time trip to Japan 🇯🇵🥰
