Gavin Newsom took to Twitter in 2022 to take a dig at Republican governors for "banning books". The image he uploaded to Twitter showed him reading along with a stack of other books that were removed from school libraries and curriculum. However, what Newsom failed to realize is that some of the books in his post were also removed from school districts in his home state of California.
