4-year-old girl seriously hurt in crash with drag racer, police say

A 4-year-old girl is in "very serious condition" after a suspected drag racer knocked her father's car off the road.  The incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Winton Road and Dutch Colony Drive, according to police. Drivers in a silver Audi and Maroon Mercury were racing northbound on Winton when the driver of the Audi went left-of-center to try to pass a black Ford, but clipped it and sent the Ford into the southbound lane, where it hit a white Subaru, according to police.  The girl was riding in the Ford with her dad. Police Sgt. Mike Machenheimer said she suffered life-threatening injuries and was being treated at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
