Revolutionary Observations by James Webb Telescope: Discovery of Two Extremely Distant Galaxies. The James Webb Telescope has made a groundbreaking discovery, spotting two of the farthest galaxies ever observed. This achievement was enabled by the colossal gravitational lens created by the galaxy cluster Abell 2744, also known as Pandora's Cluster, which lies approximately 3.5 billion light-years from Earth.

The cluster's influence on space-time significantly amplified the light from more distant galaxies in the background, allowing the Webb Telescope team to identify two galaxies with exceptionally high redshift values.

The first, named UNCOVER-z13, exhibits a redshift of 13.079, indicating we are observing it as it was just 330 million years post-Big Bang. The second, UNCOVER-z12, with a redshift of 12.393, is seen as it was roughly 350 million years after the Big Bang.

What distinguishes these two galaxies is their unique appearance. Contrary to other high-redshift galaxies that appear point-like and minuscule, spanning only a few hundred light-years in diameter, the UNCOVER galaxies exhibit discernible structure.
