Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 222 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡمَحِيضِۖ قُلۡ هُوَ أَذٗى فَٱعۡتَزِلُواْ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فِي ٱلۡمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطۡهُرۡنَۖ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرۡنَ فَأۡتُوهُنَّ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ أَمَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ وَيُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَطَهِّرِينَ ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 222 (English Translation): “ And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allāh has ordained for you. Indeed, Allāh loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 222 (Urdu Translation): “ آپ سے حیض کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں، کہہ دیجیئے کہ وه گندگی ہے، حالت حیض میں عورتوں سے الگ رہو اور جب تک وه پاک نہ ہوجائیں ان کے قریب نہ جاؤ، ہاں جب وه پاک ہوجائیں تو ان کے پاس جاؤ جہاں سے اللہ نے تمہیں اجازت دی ہے، اللہ توبہ کرنے والوں کو اور پاک رہنے والوں کو پسند فرماتا ہے۔ ”
