Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 Loses a Door Mid Flight! What Happened?

An Alaska Airlines Flight taking off from Portland, Oregon heading to Ontario, California had a bit of a disruptions 20 minutes into its journey. In mid air, a door plug on the Boeing 737 MAX 9 decided to give way and take a panel off the fuselage. Thankfully no one was hurt, but now the questions are coming in.

How did this happen? What can be done to prevent this from happening again? What is wrong with these Boeing aircrafts? All of these are good questions, but unfortunately, some of them will not be answered. Thanks to the Black Box recordings being erased, very little can be learned from this specific flight, which raises a few eyebrows in the process...
