MY OPINION: Much better to hold your own BTC than to buy a spot ETF for self-custody reasons. Though it's understandable for folks who have significant 401k's to allocate some or all of that to spot BTC ETF because the early withdrawal fees are hefty.

What is SWIFT? The SWIFT system, which stands for "Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication," is the largest and most streamlined method for international payments and settlements. It works by assigning each member institution a unique ID code (a BIC number) that identifies the institution, country, and branch. SWIFT is a member-owned cooperative controlled by its shareholders and overseen by the Group of Ten countries' G-10 central banks. It is crucial to global financial infrastructure, with more than 11,000 global SWIFT member institutions sending an average of 44.8 million messages daily

Nigeria's Central Bank 'Softens' Its Stance, Permits Bank Accounts for Bitcoin Companies. The decision rescinds a 2021 directive against institutions facilitating cryptocurrency transactions and prohibiting local banks from opening accounts for Bitcoin service providers.

Bitcoin Circular Economy projects:

At the upcoming @Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town Conference, we will consider a proposal and (potentially) help fund the establishment of a new #Bitcoin Circular Economy project in South Africa. Something much like Bitcoin Beach and our own project, Bitcoin Ekasi. However, it'll be different in that #Bitcoin AND #Nostr will serve as its foundational cornerstones.
