The daily bitcoin journey is a live show, every morning at 8am CST, focused on actionable and logical discussion for bitcoiners and future bitcoiners.
Today's episode talked about a worst case scenario - cyber attack and a mad max world. Would bitcoin survive? Would other assets survive? Could you use cash, coins, bitcoin to buy supplies in this type of scenario?
We broke each down: bonds, stocks, cash, cash in hand, bitcoin - and which of these people would most likely to accept in return for food and supplies.
It was a deep episode but these discussions are important so we can best prepare. The moral of this story was that you want to keep the majority of your assets in your own possession. Without the counterparty risk, and without the risk of a blackout, reset, cyber attack, or power outage.
We also talked about the importance of security and making sure that you keep your SATS in a very safe place. I recommend using the COLDCARD to store your bitcoin because of it's focus on security, air gapped technology, and the many unique features it offers.
