Mystery of the Faith: Part One of The Mysteries of God

When we search the scriptures for the meaning of faith we find…faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Yet many people who claim to have faith are trusting in something that is seen (Colossians 2:11-12; water baptism, keeping the law, their good deeds, etc.). The faith of man does not have any part in our salvation (Ephesians 2:8-10). It is the faith of Jesus that is given to us when we believe in him (Romans 3:22). It is Jesus' faith that can move mountains and trees (Matthew 17:20; Luke 17:6). It is God's faith that can not be over thrown (Romans 3:3-4; II Timothy 2:18). This is the mystery of the faith (I Timothy 3:9). Please get your King James Bible and follow along as we study the mystery of the faith.
