What is the significance of mind purification in tantra for personal growth? Tantra represents a level of purity that goes beyond the ordinary. We typically categorise things as positive or negative. Division can arise for various reasons. Whether from a cleanliness perspective, ethical standpoint, or other considerations, we tend to categorise life into positive and negative aspects. Typically, we refer to purity as a state of goodness, devoid of any negative attributes and filled only with positive qualities. In Tantra, the concepts of good and bad hold no significance. Tantra embraces unity and wholeness. In Tantra, the concept of purity is a question worth exploring. Saints believe that expressing anger, indulging in sexual desires, and being consumed by greed are morally incorrect. Gurdjieff emphasises the detrimental effects of negativity and the immense value of positivity. Although they may have differing opinions, Jainas, Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, and Mohammedans all have their own definitions of what is right and wrong. There are both negative and positive aspects to certain things. They find it effortless to define purity. Everyone has their own definition of what is good and what is bad. Nevertheless, Tantra encounters a significant challenge. Tantra does not make superficial distinctions between what is considered good and evil. What does purity mean? According to Tantra, embracing unity is considered pure, while allowing for division is seen as impure. Tantra describes purity as a state of pure innocence, without any distinctions.
