The light snow that has been falling hasn't added up to much, but what is sitting around has been very hard to melt with salt because of the cold temperatures. Making matters worse, with the bitter cold that has stuck around, the pavement temperatures are also not helping the melting process. Either way, additional accumulation as we head into the evening should be minor, though a little lake influence could kick up the totals a bit next to Lake Michigan.
