Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 143 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ أُمَّةٗ وَسَطٗا لِّتَكُونُواْ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ شَهِيدٗاۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡقِبۡلَةَ ٱلَّتِي كُنتَ عَلَيۡهَآ إِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَن يَتَّبِعُ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِمَّن يَنقَلِبُ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيۡهِۚ ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 143 (English Translation): “ And thus We have made you a median [i.e., just] community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. ”

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 143 (Urdu Translation): “ ہم نے اسی طرح تمہیں عادل امت بنایا ہے تاکہ تم لوگوں پر گواه ہوجاؤ اور رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) تم پر گواه ہوجائیں، جس قبلہ پر تم پہلے سے تھے اسے ہم نے صرف اس لئے مقرر کیا تھا کہ ہم جان لیں کہ رسول کا سچا تابعدار کون ہے اور کون ہے جو اپنی ایڑیوں کے بل پلٹ جاتا ہے ”
