Runs 2:59 | PONTIAC, Mich. The Atlanta Falcons continued to be at their worst Sunday, and this time it worked against them. The Falcons' aggressive defense held Detroit to 51 second-half yards, but penalties hurt and the Lions (1-1) hung on for a 21-14 victory. "Atlanta is a team that tries to intimidate you," said Detroit's Chris Spielman, who had 10 tackles. "But you're not going to come into the Silverdome and intimidate us." Detroit quarterback Rodney Peete threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. But he threw two interceptions in the third quarter and was replaced by Bob Gagliano with 9:38 left in the game. Barry Sanders finished with just 55-yards on 18 carries.
