Ms. Langdon flips her vote from 2022 to December 2023, three days before filing for reelection

Preventing smoking in public parks should have been a no-brainer but North Port FL commissioner Barbara Langdon voted to prevent protecting the people and animals. Three days before filing to run for re-election - a very odd practice since Ms. Langdon was the incumbent with massive Special Interest support - Ms. Langdon flipped her vote. City Attorney Amber Slayton who wrote the December 2023 Ordinance which Ms. Langdon approved, conveniently left out of the Legislative Text that the ordinance had been presented the previous year and that Ms. Langdon voted against it. These are the sort of tricks some candidates play in order to get elected. Unfortunately for the citizens and animals who suffered for over a year because of Ms. Langdon's refusal to protect them, her vote comes too late
