Making End Grain Cutting Boards From Scrap Wood / Part 1

We have a lot of scrap wood we had glued up into cutting board blanks that were too thin or too small , so we decided to cut them up and make end grain cutting boards.

first step rip boards into desired width , we went with 1¼ inch strips. Then, align in the pattern you want.

I think the 4 we pieced together should look good once they are glued , sanded, and oiled.
