2023 Year in Review: The Year of Desolation-A Munchausen’s Proxy Video-The Social Misanthrope

The year was 2023. So I took some time to reflect on what we were presented with by Hollywood. On one hand, we got Barbenheimer, Super Mario Brothers, One Piece, Spider-Men (and woman, you sexist pig! Oh, sorry, I forgot about the pig, too!) and Godzilla done proper. On the other, there was Disney . . . everything Disney, and Willow, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, Fast X, Indiana Jones, DC . . . everything DC, and the glory of filmmaking that was The Marvels. To say things were lopsided to the bad would be an understatement. But thanks to the actors’ and writers’ strikes this year, next year will be . . . yeah, that started out to be hopeful, but let’s be honest, 2024 will probably only be better because there will be less of everything out of Hollyweird as the place burns to the ground. Happy New Year!
