Permanent Visa-Free Access to China and Thailand Starting in March

01/02/2024 The Chinese and Thai governments will permanently waive visa requirements for each other's tourists from March, CNA reported. Tourists from both countries will be able to stay in each other's country for 30 days at a time without a visa, however, it must not exceed 90 days within a time frame of six months. The agreement is expected to be reached by the end of February. Currently, Thai citizens are exempt from visa requirements for countries such as Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and South Africa.
