We're starting the day with widespread frost, but the sunshine today will help warm us up above our average of 55 with a high of 60 degrees today in Bakersfield. The Kern River Valley will be in the upper 50s this afternoon with a high of 54 in Tehachapi today and just 50 in Frazier Park. Passing clouds this weekend won't bring any rain, just a fresh breeze as each afternoon climbs a little higher.
