U.S. Commercial Cargo Craft Heads to the Space Station

On May 21, the Orbital ATK Cygnus cargo spacecraft was launched from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, riding atop an Antares rocket. Its mission is to rendezvous with the International Space Station (ISS) and deliver a variety of scientific experiments and supplies to support the station's inhabitants. The spacecraft carries multiple tons of cargo destined for the ISS.
