Japan PM says many still trapped under quake rubble

Rescue efforts in Japan were stepped up on Thursday (January 4) as the end of a crucial 72-hour survival window neared for the New Year's quake which has left at least 77 dead, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters.
