Scarves, gloves, & hats wrapped around Washington Square Park for homeless
7 years ago
Nearly 2,100 scarves, hats, and gloves covered Washington Square Park on Thursday. The items are part of MarksNelson’s “Wrapped in Warmth” campaign for the homeless. This is the second year MarksNelson has done this campaign. Last year, a little more than 400 items were donated. This year, 2,070 items were either donated or handmade by people. The firm is hoping to make the event even bigger next year.
