There are types of people in scripture that are "taken" to Heaven and "escape" Judgment ... and there are the Jews that are "hidden" and "protected" on Earth from Judgment ... and there are those who PERISH during the Judgment!

- Enoch "taken" before Destruction/Tribulation - a type of Rapture of the Church
- Noah and family "preserved" during the Flood which they are a "type" of the Remnant Jews who will be preserved/hidden during the Tribulation
- The reprobates and Demons and Nephilim were destroyed during the FLOOD!

- Daniel "missing or taken" during the worship to the Statue (Gentile Kindom)
- The 3 Jewish young men, protected by Jesus in the fire "7 Times hotter" ... the 7 year Tribulation!

- Ruth at the feet of Boaz, her Husband/Redeemer during the Thrashing of the Wheat (The Tribulation).

- Issac is missing "taken" after the sacrifice on Mt Moriah ... then shows up in scripture with his bride

- Joseph takes a Gentile bride before the 7 years of Famine upon the earth.

There are probably more examples ... Jesus protected His disciples in the boat by calming the storm. The Lord is Johava-Jireh ... Protector Provider.

- The imminence "to watch and be ready" to escape the judgment of "The Day of the Lord" doesn't make sense if there is an event that precedes the Rapture, "The Day of Christ Jesus". The Rapture is the event that kicks off the End Time events that are part of the judgment of "The Day of the Lord".

The word "TAKEN" that Jesus uses in the Olivet Discourse means to "Aggressively Take" ... like SNATCH from Danger ... similar to Harpazo!

Usage: I take from, receive from, or: I take to, receive (apparently not used of money), admit, acknowledge; I take with me.

- The Greek word "paralambánō " is used by Jesus to say one of the men is "taken" ... this means taken to draw close, embraced, like in marriage. This is NOT taken in judgment but "taken" in love, sweeping the bride off her feet ... like the Rapture where the groom (Jesus) takes His Bride (the Church) to His home (in Heaven) to be wed and live!

This discovery of the deeper meaning of the word "taken" that Jesus used is truly amazing. Other scripture references use the word "taken" which gives further validation that Jesus was referring to a pre-Tribulation Rapture in the Olivet Discourse.

- Another example of this word "take" is used to "carry off", to escape persecution ... a snatching away from the coming Trouble, like the Rapture of the Church!

- And here is another example where the greek word (paralēmpsomai) means "to receive" ... where Jesus said I will receive you (believers) to Himself at the place He went to prepare for them!

Note, Luke in chapter 21 is recording something similar to the Olive Discourse of Matthew 24 but Luke is primarily referring to the Destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. However, Luke in Chapter 17 records the End Times Signs before the Coming of Jesus to be like Noah and Lot ... unexpected ... he adds the phrase the two men will be sleeping and one will be "taken". This is 3 different times that the Rapture could occur in the morning when men are at work, in the evening when women are preparing the meal and at night when people are sleeping.

Luke adds that the carcass or body will be where the eagles are gathered. But Matthew describes this saying about the carcasses when Jesus is talking about coming at Armageddon, not when Jesus is talking about coming for His Bride!

Jesus would clarify the meaning of a parable to His disciples but He didn't explain the Olivet Discourse and it appears that he spoke on the topic of the Destruction of Jerusalem on more than one occasion.

Matthew 24:26“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

Luke 17: 31“In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his [i]goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away.
