Lisandro is also the author of “Sugar, Cigars, & Revolution: The Making of Cuban NY” and tells of his upbringing born in LaHabara, Cuba and emigrating with his parents to the U.S. in 1960, later settling in Miami graduating from the University of Miami in Sociology and served at Florida International Univ. for 12 years!
