Shocking Race & Crime stats in the US

- 1/3 prison inmates are black, majority serving time for violent offenses
- lifetime chances of incarceration is 16.2% for blacks, 9.4% for Hispanics and 2.5% for Whites

- Blacks 6x more likely to go to prison than Whites
