NHS Privatiser in waiting Wes Streeting cheers IDF linked health firm!

A health-tech firm linked to the Israeli Defence Force is hailed as the future of the NHS by labour Friend of Israel Wes Streeting.
Right, so the New Year has got off to an awful start for Keir Starmer’s health minion Wes Streeting and this video was going to be more about that, the multitude of ways his year has gotten off to quite a rotten start, my heart bleeds for him truly, but a breaking story this morning served to remind me, as if it were really needed, just how much he deserves a bad day or two and also what a Godawful, NHS privatiser in waiting Wes Streeting actually is. Streeting you see is also involved with Labour Friends of Israel, LFI, who could have guessed he would find a way to combine his loyalty to Israel with NHS privatisation, but he’s done it, Labour no longer anything like on the side of the health service, led by a guy who stood to renationalise it and remove the privatisation that has already crept in, and yet here we are today, with Labour ready to carry on where the Tories leave off should they win the General Election and holding up a private health firm from Israel as an example, when we’re all living health privatisation here and now and we know it doesn’t work, let alone take inspiration from a genocidal regime to continue with it.
Right, so Wes Streeting, if anyone deserves to have some bad news come their way to ring in the New Year, it is he, but I’ll come onto that in a bit, end the video on a positive note. Let’s sort out his pro Israel exaltation of private health here first, because this is worrisome not only because of how deeply wedded to continuing NHS privatisation as Streeting is, but that he chooses one of the most detested regimes on the planet right now as a source to try and sell his snake oil.
In an exclusive this morning this channel’s very good friends at Skwawkbox, it seems Streeting name dropped a firm with links not just to Israel, but with the IDF itself, in his sales pitch.
Streeting is eying up the NHS App so many of us have on our phones, some 31 million of us apparently, using such data to open up the NHS to more health entrepreneurs. Not more medics then? That’s a shame, that’s what we actually need. The i newspaper covered this and their brief explainer reads:
‘A Labour government would open up the NHS to private “entrepreneurs” to develop at-home health tests and open more of the UK up to clinical trials, i understands.
Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting wants to transform the way NHS goods and suppliers are chosen, with a greater use of private providers to clear the huge backlog of non-emergency treatment at the top of his to-do list.
New health technology would be tried at a single NHS trust before potentially being rolled out across the country, while the health service would collaborate more closely with the life sciences sector.
A source close to Mr Streeting told i Labour will encourage the spread of new technologies so private sector “innovators” have a clearer route to get their product into the NHS.
He has already pledged to “hold the door wide open” to entrepreneurs so that his party can “put our foot on the accelerator” when it comes to NHS reform.’
