Our country needs your help in 2024. Resolve to do something for her.

As JFK said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

Your country is dying, and she needs your help. She has nothing left to give to you, because she’s already given you everything she has. You have freedom, family, friends, a place to live, education, opportunity, entertainment. What else do you expect her to give to you?

Do you want to know why some of these things are now starting to slip away? It’s not because she hasn’t given us everything we need. It’s because we’ve taken everything from her, and too many of us have given nothing in return.

That’s why we are where we are. What’s happening to our country is our fault. There is no one to blame but ourselves, we let her down. We’ve let bad people take over her institutions. We’ve let cell phones take our brains offline. We’ve let the media manipulate us and divide us and divert our attention from what’s most important.

And it’s time for us to take responsibility. To tell her that we’re sorry, for neglecting her, for caring more about entertaining ourselves than about protecting freedoms, for caring more about material things than preserving our values and culture, for caring more about posting things we do, expensive things we buy, and fancy dinners we eat on social media and letting our lives be sucked into these devices instead of doing real things with real people in the real world.

And now, we have to show her that we’re going to change. Because now we see everything she’s given us only because we’re starting to see how quickly it might be taken away.

Our country is on life support and it is our duty to rescue her, watch over her, and protect her freedoms, her values, her interests, her families, and her institutions.

It’s time for us to make resolutions about more than just ourselves this year. Eating better, going to the gym more often, making more money. This year we all need to resolve to do something to help save our country, because she’s given everything she has, and now we need to give something back.

Tomorrow, on New Year’s Day, the eleventh hour will begin, and I will tell you how you can help.
