Stretching is a vital component of a well-rounded fitness routine, promoting flexibility and preventing injury. Focus on major muscle groups, holding each stretch for 15-30 seconds. Start with neck tilts, gently moving the head side to side. Proceed to shoulder rolls, circling forward and backward. For the arms, extend one arm across the chest and hold. Follow with wrist flexor and extensor stretches. For the back, perform a seated or standing forward bend. Address the lower body with quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf stretches. Incorporate hip flexor and glute stretches. Conclude with ankle circles. Always warm up before stretching and maintain controlled breathing throughout.
