Wolves Got You Down
PartI
My Grieffer keeps me stocked in wolf hearts,
pelts, and big game meat. In RDO and in RDR2
I'm never in short supply of these items. Both in
perts 1 and 2, youll see that the same tactics
work to kill off the entire pack. You'll, also, see the
same tactics used against both Arthur Morgan
and my online character, Ann Bonnie. in fact, my
tactics are so successful that she won't even
allow the wolves to attack me anymore!
In Part I, Ann Bonnie does her work in killing off
both Grey and Timber Wolves.
If you find yourself under attack from any predator,
follow these guidelines. (I got the idea from the
honor mission of hunters treed from cougars
wolves, and grizzlies.)
1. Look for a large bolder to climb on. In the case
of a Grizzly, make it a very large bolder.
2. Take your time. Most of the predators can't
climb up the bolder to get to you. Both wolves
and cougars are extremely elusive. Alternate
between shooting from the hip and your scope
and you should be able to bring them all down
with headshots.|recommend using a
nigh-powered rifle with express or high velocity
ammunition.
3. If no bolders are available, get them to follow
you across a bridge or simply out run them to
create a large gap. They will attack you in a
straight line, so targeting them will be easy.
4. After you've taken them all down, skin all of
them because you'll receive experience points for
skinning and butchering them. Also, every pelt
has value. Sell the poor pelts and extra steaks to
the butcher.
