AIR JORDAN 5 PARIS SAINT GERMAIN PSG REVIEW

In 1889, Gustav Eiffel finished construction on the Eiffel Tower forever changing the Paris landscape. Almost 130 years later, Jumpman and Paris Saint Germain FC link up forever changing Paris' sneaker landscape. In the first-ever football club partnership for Jordanbrand, the Jordan 5 celebrates PSG's current crop of superstars, including Neymar and Mbappe, with these Js dressed in black and red with PSG crest detailing on the shoe.

The Air Jordan 5 Paris is a homage to PSG, Paris Saint-Germain Football (soccer) Club, and also acknowledging the 2018 World Cup tournament. Sporting black for most of its makeup, the sneaker is highlighted with “Paris” text on the netting across its sides and number “75” stitching located on the heel, symbolizing Paris’ zip code. Speckling on the jagged area of the midsole, followed by a translucent outsole completes the design altogether. According to sources, this style is limited to 40,000 pairs only.

Air Jordan Metallic 5 2016 Release

2016 was a big yet for the Jordan Brands remastered series. One of the coveted models to receive the remaster treatment is the Jordan 5 in the Black, Fire Red, Metallic Silver, and White color scheme. The shoe features an all-black nubuck upper accompanied by the netting placed on the side panels. The metallic colored tongue comes in 3M fashion to really give the shoe some nice pop. Branding comes by way of the Jumpman on the tongue and outsole, and of course the Nike Air on the heel of the shoe to give it the OG look. Additional features on the shoe include the lace locks, the clear icy outsole and the black midsole paired up with the metallic shark teeth that we’re used to seeing on the Jordan 5.

Air Jordan 5 “Blackout” wear-test sample 2008

The Air Jordan “Blackout” Sample is one of a few colorways to escape the depths of the Nike Campus kitchen. This wear test sample was the foundation of the most recent Air Jordan 5 silhouette’s we’ve seen in the recent years. The sample featured a new air unit structure and textured nubuck suede material. There’s no release date for these shoes because they were not released to the public, but they were created in 2008.
