Rain the 4yr old Spotted Saddle Horse filly started in training 18 Oct 2023. This video shot on 21 Dec 2023 (two months into training) shows her progress. https://rumble.com/v448xxr-rain-progress-working-the-gate-21-dec-2023.html Working the gate is IMO a good progress test because it involves a number of skills which must be done calmly and must be transitioned between calmly, precisely, and immediately on cue. And working the gate while the boss mare must be kept from exiting increases the challenge level a bit.
