This broadcast was aimed strictly to our Arm Forces via shortwave only, not to the listeners in the US. World War 2 recently ended and our Arm Forces had good reason to celebrate. There are several bands around the US in this broadcast, such as Harry James, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, Jimmy Dorsey, Artie Shaw (with guest Roy Eldridge), Stan Kenton, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and Guy Lombardo.
